Research for Industry
With more than 60 employees, we have a production area of approximately 2,000 m² and a clean room area of approximately 1,700 m² at our disposal. The ITVP is a subsidiary of the German Institute for Textile and Fiber Research (DITF). It was founded in 2001 from the Institute for Textile and Process Technology Denkendorf (ITV).
In cooperation with the ITV Denkendorf and other renowned project partners, we are involved with numerous publicly sponsored research projects, such as the REGINA association and at EU level.

how to find us:
As the parent company of ITV Denkendorf Produktservice GmbH, the German Institute for Textile and Fiber Research Denkendorf looks back on a tradition-rich and scientifically marked history:
In 1974, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Heinrich Planck worked with textile arterial prostheses with fiber-shaped structures as part of his PhD thesis for the Institute for Textile Technology (at that time still Reutlingen).
In 1980 this resulted in the research area of biomedical engineering at ITV Denkendorf, which developed a variety of textile implants.
Expansion of the clean rooms to the contemporary ITVP.
First accreditation of testing laboratories at the ITV.
Early on, the ITV Denkendorf established a quality management for medical products, to enable industrial partners to manufacture primary products under certified conditions. In 1998, the research, development and production of medical products were certified for the first time.
Founding of the ITVP, a spin-off company of the ITV Denkendorf as a 100% subsidiary of the German Institute for Fiber Research.
2005 - 2006
Expansion of the clean rooms to a total of 1,700 m².
CEO of ITVP: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Götz T. Gresser.
