25 years ITVP

ITV Denkendorf Produktservice GmbH (ITVP) was founded on 1 October 2001 – a reason to celebrate our 25th company anniversary this year.

ITVP’s roots lies in the Biomedical Engineering Department of the German Institutes for Textile and Fibre Research (DITF). Research was carried out there into textile-based implants and their pre-products. Numerous projects were successfully completed and subsequently transferred to industrial production. The growing volume of orders eventually exceeded the capacity of a research institute. Consequently, the decision was taken in 2001 to establish a subsidiary, which was subsequently implemented.

Today, with around 40 employees, we manufacture textile medical devices in a cleanroom area of approximately 1,200 square metres. In addition, we develop innovative products and processes that contribute to better treatment options and tangible benefits for patients.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary on 1 October together with our employees. As well as a delicious meal, the anniversary celebration provided an opportunity to look back on the past 25 years and reflect on our company’s development.
